the linger

my heart trusts you to remain
my soul bound to you
my deepest regret so entangled
by the loss you sought
that loss you never let me in
in to that hollow space
where we could be joined yet again

my bones infused with blood
i dare look at its flow
my heart aches
as it richly flows
flows of your linger

the dare game is long overdue
i cant stand it anymore
your linger hurts much more
i think i would be able to bear it
indeed, but afar of

most decisions do hurt
but it does make me stronger

yet it pleads for you to let go
my deepest regrets so entangled
yet it pleads for you to allow peace seep in
that loss we both felt
yet you never let me in

i do not know which is worse
you lingering or you leaving???

please allow me that space
to be me just not you in me
as you linger.
