relativity

It all started when I thought of how relative everything I felt, knew, learnt, or ever came across was of a relative nature. The relativity almost choked me yet beckoned to me to just embrace it; it was not as though I could even run from it if I could.
My education on how basically was depended on where I was, what I had been exposed to, the formal education I had gone through and my experiences in my environment. Wishfully I thought this small space of mine was all I would face, love and die in. the harsh reality set in when I just had to escape the very thing I knew.
Thus relativity came into play. Like a wizard chess game, my heart pounded when each move came with fatality; my life or my opponent’s. Trust was an easy choice yet relative to mine, I was willing to sacrifice the other.
Gazing now as to how probably stupid I was, I realize how everything would have turned out if only, if only, if I only did one thing instead of the other or probably punched different keys then everything would have been better.
I think each person might have had this thought once or twice. Well it is all in that law of relativity; lurking in the shadows yet all the same, twisting us in the spine by words of regret, had-I knowns, among others.
The slow poison, drunk each day yet we dare not avoid for decisions ought to be made. Choking the life out of us, yet as always it is inevitable.
But must I remind you this is all relative.
The sum of life
The gain of it all
Drawn to its clutches
My world to a standstill

Wherefore shall I draw that is mine??
If not from what I know
Yet my experiences fail
As relativity lurks

My heart thumps
For it has yet to learn
The main gears of life
To be continued

  2. Great Work....As succinctly stated by Elsa Einstein, "No, I don't understand my husband theory of relativity, but I know my husband and I know he can be trusted".
