Flaws

Life- my greatest discipline
My disclosure to it all
I feared I had not yet seen a pin-head of what it had to offer

Life- my frenemy
The awesome, miserable me
Cheers and ridicules he served me

Life- the beats he sounded so often
I already forgot how I squeaked in delight
How I danced to his rhythm
How I so often replaced the frayed wires

Life- the crazy tune
I wish I had not met
Yet in the sway of the branches
In the caresses of the wind
In the scorch of the sun
I'm yet reminded that I have nothing else
In him, do I remain hopeful
